Sarah began studying ballet at age 8 at the San Ramon Valley Dance Academy. As her studio's resident bunhead, she trained primarily in ballet and pointe technique but has been exposed to a little of everything. She has attended summer intensives with Ballet San Jose, American Repertory Ballet, and Ballet West Academy. During middle and high school, she competed with her dance studio and was awarded scholarships from Duprree, NYCDA, NUVO, and Radix dance conventions. Sarah also worked at her home studio as a teaching assistant and substitute teacher. She is so excited to be part of YD's diverse group of dancers and is looking forward to exploring different styles and choreography!
