Sara began dancing at the age of 3 at her local studio in Philadelphia, training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, before competing with Touch of Class Dance Studio then training with the Koresh School of Dance. Trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, and hip hop, she performed with the Koresh Youth Ensemble before attending Phillips Academy, a boarding school in Andover, MA., where she continued her dance training with the Andover Dance Group, Blue Strut, Andover's student-run jazz group, and Hypnotiq, Andover's student-run hip-hop group. With Andover Dance Group Sara learned and performed repertoire from guest choreographers including members of Martha Graham Dance Company. Sara completed an independent choreography project and directed Dance Open, Andover's biggest student-run dance performance.
